SPEARHEADING NET ZERO CARBON LIVING
The Sustainable City hosted 300 delegates from Russia, visiting Dubai as part of their international internship programs.

The Sustainable City welcomed a high-level Russian delegation which included mayors, deputy mayors, governor deputies, urban planners, and chief architects who are preparing a Master of Public Administration – a degree to help leaders and administrators acquire quality skills and training in handling public administrative sectors and office.
The delegation toured the Sustainable City to learn about the latest technologies and solutions and the best international practices employed in the community. The delegation was received by SEE Institute – the research and development arm of Diamond Developers.
The program centered around new ways of thinking and skills development as well as innovative technologies in urban infrastructure. Also, it included a deep dive workshop into climate action by examining best practices for achieving net zero energy.
Karim El-Jisr Executive Director of SEE institute, underlined the importance of such visits, as they enhance collaborations and support global partnerships for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. They also accelerate the transfer of knowledge about sustainability across continents and showcase Dubai as a global hub for innovation in smart and sustainable cities.
